Site Director: Brooke Eubanks

Brooke Eubanks was born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland Canada and raised in Centennial Colorado. She grew up a multi-sport athlete and focused on lacrosse in 9th grade. She attended Cherry Creek High School in Colorado where she won 2 State Championships and then accepted a scholarship to play at James Madison University in Virginia.

Eubanks enjoyed a successful collegiate career at James Madison from 2002-06 where she was a four-year starter and led the squad to three Colonial Athletic Association championships. The Dukes advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament in 2004 and 2006. Individually, Eubanks was a second-team All-CAA selection and a member of the CAA All-Tournament team in both 2005 and 2006. She was also named to the 2006 Virginia Sports Information Directors' Association All-State squad. Brooke graduated with a degree in Sport Management with a Minor in Business and Coaching.

As a national player, Eubanks participated in three World Cups (2005, 2009, 2013) and won multiple medals as a player for the Canadian Senior National Team from 2003-13. Canada won the silver medal in 2013 with Eubanks serving as team captain. She was second on her team in scoring in the 2009 World Cup, helping the Canadians capture the bronze medal.

Brooke began her professional career coaching right out of college at George Mason University, located just outside of Washington D.C. She was an assistant coach at George Mason for two seasons from 2006-08. During that span, George Mason collected the school record for wins in a season (12, 2008) and garnered the team’s highest national ranking in school history at No. 9. After two seasons, she was asked to move west as the first assistant coach at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA.

Brooke served as an assistant coach at Stanford for 6 seasons. With her help, the Cardinal won four MPSF championships, garnered multiple national top-10 rankings, set a school record for the most wins in a season in program history (16, 2011) and produced four MPSF Players of the Year and one MPSF Rookie of the Year. In addition, Stanford earned IWLCA Division I Merit Squad recognition in 2011.

Finally, Brooke Eubanks was at the helm of the University of California Golden Bears from 2014 - 2022 with Cal improving its win total in each of her first five seasons before the team's 2020 season was shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many player statistical records were broken during Eubanks’ tenure and the team was also strong in the classroom earning academic awards.
Brooke and her husband Eric, live in Alamo, CA and have two daughters, Olive and Johnie.
